Raisons d'être

{What I Wore and What I Did: Friday, September 27, 2013}

Last night I was lame and stayed in because I’m doing everything in my power to fight off this cold I’ve developed. So far it’s been working (knock on wood), which is good because I have a full day of teaching dance and then Northwestern Homecoming alumni duties to do.

That said, here is a recap of last Friday. It was the monthly alley party thrown by Few Spirits, an Evanston based distillery (see here for previous posts about the time I helped them bottle and label their gin and whiskey). This was the first time I was able to go to one of the “Few Fridays” events, and it was really great. Delicious cocktails, and a yummy food truck. My friend ordered maybe the most epic grilled cheese sandwich I’ve ever seen. And the cocktails were delicious (as expected).

Also, the weather last week was amazing and fall-like. I don’t know how anyone can not like fall weather.
